MediaZone Moto, broadband rights holder for the Red Bull Motocross of
Nations, today announced that they are offering exclusive content and
interviews with Team USA's star riders as part of a two-week long rev up
to the "Olympics of Motocross" later this month.
The 61st installment of the Motocross of Nations will take place on
September 28, 2008 at the famed Donington Park Raceway in Castle
Donington, England. Team USA seeks to defend its crown after
taking home the storied Chamberlain Trophy in 2007. Incredibly,
Team USA is in position to pull off a four-peat and become the first
country to win in four consecutive years since the Red, White & Blue
reeled off a streak of 13 straight titles from 1981-1993.
The 2008 Team USA line-up features MXON veterans James Stewart
(2006), Tim Ferry (2007), and Ryan Villopoto (2006 & 2007).
Stewart is fresh off of this year's historic season in which he raced to
a 24-0 AMA Motocross season record, led 369 of 382 laps, and captured
the AMA Overall Points Title. Stewart now joins MX legend and
previous MXON champ Ricky Carmichael as the only riders in the sport's
history to go unbeaten. Fellow Team Kawasaki rider, Ferry,
finished second to Stewart in the overall standings, while Villopoto
took home his third consecutive AMA Motocross Lites Championship.
AMA fans can hear and read the interviews with these MX superstars on
September 18 (Ferry), September 23 (Villopoto) & September 25
(Stewart) exclusively on MediaZone Moto.
The Motocross of Nations event will not be televised live in North
America but will be available globally to fans LIVE & On Demand on
MediaZone for just $14.99. All PPV subscribers will be entered into a
drawing to win one of four pairs of James Stewart Signature Series
Crowbar® MX goggles by Oakley.
